Volunteers’ Week (1-7 June 2020) is an annual celebration of the contribution people make around the world through volunteering. Although the coronavirus pandemic has stopped many projects, we CELEBRATE our CURRENT volunteers and invite FUTURE volunteers to find out more about Assumption Volunteers! Why not consider taking some time out and volunteer with us in the next academic year?
Since the middle of March 2020 we have been practicing the art of social distancing in the fight against the Covid-19 Coronavirus pandemic. Both our UK and overseas projects are affected by the lockdown and new projects are on hold for the time being. This past month we also said farewell to Helen Granger, who has been the inspirational coordinator of Assumption Volunteers in the past 14 years!
Do you want to empower the poor, the young and the marginalized?
Why not volunteer as a teacher in India, in a creative arts centre in Newcastle or in one of the many community development projects in the Philippines?

The Assumption Volunteer programme is for men and women, aged 18+, who are open to personal and spiritual growth, and who want to share in the Sisters' charism and work.
